Shares of Aurionpro Solutions Ltd fell 2.75% after touching a day’s high of Rs 1,060.50 on 12th January. This happened even as the company said it had secured a fresh order from Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) Limited. The order is to implement Automated Fare Collection (AFC) systems for the Bhopal and Indore Metro projects. This strengthens its footprint across India’s metro rail network.
In a regulatory filing on 12th January, Aurionpro said it has received a multi-year order worth around Rs 150 crore. This is part of DMRC’s collaboration with Madhya Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Limited.
The project involves supplying, implementing, and maintaining Automated Fare Collection (AFC) systems for the Bhopal and Indore Metro projects. It uses open-loop EMV card- and QR-code-based solutions. Aurionpro will also provide operations and maintenance support for five years.
The company said the AFC systems are designed to improve commuter convenience, boost operational efficiency, and allow interoperability across upcoming metro networks in Madhya Pradesh. The solutions are aligned with global payment standards and India’s National Common Mobility Card (NCMC) norms. They are supported by the company’s in-house “Made in India” design and manufacturing capabilities.
Aurionpro said the order strengthens its presence in India’s metro rail ecosystem. This positions it well for further opportunities in the smart mobility space.
Separately, the company recently secured a multi-year transaction banking mandate from a leading PSU bank. This aims to modernise its cash management infrastructure using its iCashpro platform.
At 2:14 PM, shares of Aurionpro Solutions were trading 2.25% lower at Rs 1,031.70 on NSE.
