Ceigall India Gains 3.5% on Rs 298 Cr Order Win

Shares of Ceigall India Ltd surged 3.5% to hit a day’s high of Rs 277.50 on 25th March. This happened after the company announced it had received two engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) orders worth around Rs 298 crore from Purvah Green Power Private Limited for projects in Andhra Pradesh.

The Rs 119.96 crore order involves building a 220 kV transmission line on a turnkey basis. It includes supply, installation, civil work, and approvals.

The Rs 177.93 crore order is for balance-of-plant work in a 300.3 MW hybrid wind project in Ralla, Andhra Pradesh. The project covers turbines, foundations, roads, and testing.

Both projects will be completed in 10 months, with no involvement from promoters and no related-party transactions.

Separately, the company’s subsidiary, Ceigall Infra Projects Pvt Ltd, emerged as the lowest bidder for a Rs 603 crore highway project from National Highways Authority of India.

The project includes building a 10.3 km six-lane road connecting NH-205A to the Zirakpur Bypass in Punjab. It will be completed under the hybrid annuity model.

It has an 18-month construction period, followed by 15 years of maintenance. As a result, this is expected to strengthen the company’s order book and road infrastructure presence.

At 12:16 PM, shares of Ceigall India were trading 3.32% higher at Rs 274 on the NSE.
