Nifty 50 closed at 26,053.90, up by 117 points (0.51%). Bank Nifty closed at 58,399.65, up by 185.55 points (0.32%). Sensex closed at 84,997.13, up by 368.98 points (0.44%).

Adani Enterprises, Power Grid Corp, NTPC, Adani Ports, JSW Steel were among the biggest gainers on the Nifty, while losers included Dr Reddy’s Labs, Maruti Suzuki, Eternal, M&M, Coal India. BSE Midcap index added 0.7 percent, and the smallcap index rose 0.6%. Among sectors, except auto (down 0.7%), all other indices ended in the green with media, metal, oil & gas up 1-2%.

Voltamp Transformers Ltd – Shares gained 3% after receiving a ₹149 crore order from Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation for designing and supplying power transformers within six months, strengthening Voltamp’s order book and reaffirming its leadership in the transformer manufacturing sector.

Arvind SmartSpaces Ltd – Up 3% after announcing entry into Vadodara’s residential market with a ₹700 crore joint development on Ajwa Road. The luxury project marks its 23rd in Gujarat, reinforcing its expansion in high-growth cities like Bengaluru and MMR.

Suzlon Energy Ltd – Stock rose 5% as the company appointed Rahul Jain, ex-CFO of SRF Ltd, as new CFO effective December 15, 2025. His financial expertise is expected to strengthen Suzlon’s systems and long-term growth strategy.
