GR Infra Shares Rally 5% on L1 for Rs 2,440 Crore Project 

Shares of GR Infraprojects Ltd rallied 5% on 18 March after the company announced emerging as the lowest bidder L1 for a Rs 2,440.87 crore project in Bihar by the National Highways Authority of India as the lowest bidder. 
 
GR Infraprojects said that it had emerged as the lowest (L1) bidder for a highway project granted by the National Highways Authority of India.
 
According to an exchange filing, the project calls for the building of a four-lane greenfield portion of National Highway-33 from Mokama to Munger in Bihar using the Hybrid Annuity Mode. The deal is worth Rs  2,440.87 crore and will be fulfilled within 910 days after the designated date.

The company recently received a Rs 1,897.51-crore order to build a new railway line from Km 124/400 to Km 165/380 between Bahari and Gondawali stations as part of the Sidhi-Singrauli new rail link project in Madhya Pradesh.

GR Infraprojects constructs infrastructure facilities on an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) or build, operate, and transfer (BOT) basis.

The company recorded a 37.70% year-on-year growth in standalone net profit to Rs 232.15 crore for the quarter ended 31 December, 2025, compared to Rs 168.59 crore in the previous period. Revenue from operations increased by 35.91% to Rs 2,039.49 crore in the quarter.
 
Revenue from BOT and annuity projects fell 6.50% year on year to Rs 1,245.75 crore. Revenue from the engineering, procurement, and construction category increased by 342.76% to Rs 920.56 crore.

However, at 1:30 pm, the shares of GR Infraprojects shed all their early gains and were trading 0.81% lower at Rs 917.60 on NSE.
