IRB Infra Arm Wins Rs 3,087-Crore NHAI Toll Project in Odisha; Shares Up 1%

Shares of IRB Infrastructure Developers Ltd surged 1% to touch a day’s high of Rs 42.76 on 7th January, after the company said its arm, IRB Infrastructure Trust, had received a letter of award (LoA) from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for a revenue-linked concession toll road project in Odisha.

As part of the deal, the trust will pay an upfront concession fee of Rs 3,087 crore to NHAI. This payment is for 20-year tolling rights.

The project covers tolling, operation, maintenance, and transfer of the 74.5-km Chandikhole–Bhadrak stretch of National Highway-16. It is under the TOT-18 bundle.

Earlier, in November 2025, IRB Infrastructure Trust won a Rs 9,270 crore NHAI project. This project is under the TOT-17 bundle, covering a 366.096-km stretch across key highway sections in Uttar Pradesh.

During the same month, the Mumbai-based developer reiterated its guidance for double-digit toll revenue growth in FY26. They also said it is on track to generate around Rs 4,000 crore in construction revenue.

At 11:27 AM, shares of IRB Infra were trading 1.27% higher at Rs 42.42 on NSE.
