Shares of Kalpataru Projects International Ltd surged 5% to hit a day’s high of Rs 1,073.10 on 24th March. This came after the company announced it had secured new orders worth Rs 4,439 crore.
Kalpataru Projects International Ltd, along with its subsidiaries, secured new orders mainly in the transmission and distribution (T&D) segment.
The order book includes a 400kV transmission line and related substations in Africa. It also includes transmission line projects within India, and a substation project in Sweden.
The company’s MD & CEO, Manish Mohnot, said these wins have helped the company cross its annual order intake target of Rs 26,000 crore.
Kalpataru Projects Q3 Results
So far in FY26, the transmission and distribution business has contributed nearly 50% of total inflows. Meanwhile, the buildings and factories segment accounts for around 40%.
On the financial front, the company reported a 7% rise in Q3 net profit to Rs 152 crore from Rs 142 crore last year. This shows steady earnings growth.
Revenue for the quarter increased 16.3% to Rs 6,665 crore. In addition, EBITDA rose 7.2% to Rs 512.7 crore, although margins slightly declined to 7.7% from 8.3% a year ago.
At 12:12 PM, shares of Kalpataru Projects were trading 2.36% higher at Rs 1,042.10 on the NSE.
