Kwality Pharma Hits 52-Week High After Record FY26 Revenue

Kwality Pharmaceuticals Limited touched a 52-week high of Rs 2,206.55 on BSE on 20 May, surging over 10% in early trade, after the company posted record annual revenue and announced a dividend for shareholders.

Full-year revenue hit Rs 503 crore in FY26, up 36% from Rs 370 crore in FY25. Profit after tax rose 69% to Rs 67.34 crore, against Rs 39.80 crore a year ago. Margins improved too, with EBITDA margin expanding to 24% from 22%, and net profit margins widening to 13.4% from 10.8%.

The fourth quarter was equally strong. Quarterly revenue came in at Rs 157.11 crore, up 35.8% year on year, marking one of the company’s strongest quarterly performances. Q4 EBITDA margin held at around 24.7%, versus 22.4% in the same period last year.

A few other developments stood out during the year. The company cleared multiple international regulatory audits. It also kicked off a large programme covering over 40 oral drug molecules, and continued investments in its biologics pipeline.

The board declared a dividend of Rs 2 per share for FY26. On the outlook front, management guided for revenue of over Rs 650 crore in FY27, with a net profit target of Rs 100 crore. 

The longer-term aim is to reach Rs 1,000 crore in revenue by FY29. Management added there could be further upside to guidance depending on the pace of approvals and new market launches.

At 12:58 pm on 20 May, shares of KPL were trading at Rs 2,070.00 on BSE, up 3.58% from the previous close of Rs 1,998.55, outperforming the broader market on the day.
