Legendary cricket umpire Dickie Bird dies aged 92
Bird officiated in 66 Test matches between 1973 and 1996, after beginning his career as a player with Yorkshire and Leicestershire. He went on to become one of the most prominent umpires of his time and was appointed president of Yorkshire in 2014.
