MCA to introduce central contracts for Mumbai players
In a landmark decision, the Mumbai Cricket Association has decided to introduce central contracts for Mumbai's domestic players for the 2026-27 domestic season. The association took the big call in its Apex Council meeting at its BKC facility on Wednesday. The move will provide those Mumbai players who don’t play for India and in the IPL, a much-needed financial security.
