This small-cap Reliance Group stock, engaged in providing integrated renewable energy solutions, specializing in solar power projects, including design, engineering, construction, and long-term maintenance services globally, is in focus after the company reported strong March quarterly results with a 3,829 percent YOY increase in net profit.

Stock Price Movement

With a market capitalization of Rs. 7,250 crores, the share of Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Limited has reached an intraday high of Rs. 333.45 per equity share, rising nearly 2.03 percent from its previous day’s close price of Rs. 326.80. Since then, the stock has retreated and hit a 5 percent lower circuit of Rs. 310.50 per share. 

Q4 FY25 Result Walkthrough

Coming into the quarterly results of Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Limited, the company’s consolidated revenue from operations increased by 113.84 percent YOY, from Rs. 1,178.01 crore in Q4 FY24 to Rs. 2,519.11 crore in Q4 FY25, and grew by 37.12 percent QoQ from Rs. 1,837.20 crore in Q3 FY25.

Further, the company’s EBIDT has increased by 355.78 percent, from Rs. 29.4 crore in Q4 FY24 to Rs. 134 crore in Q4 FY25. 

In Q4 FY25, Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Limited’s consolidated net profit increased by 3,829.29 percent YOY, reaching Rs. 55.01 crore compared to Rs. 1.40 crore during the same period last year. As compared to Q4 FY25, the net profit has increased by 220.95 percent, from Rs. 17.14 crore in Q3 FY25.

The basic earnings per share increased by 3,850 percent and stood at Rs. 2.37 as against Rs. 0.06 recorded in the same quarter in the previous year 2024.

Financial Highlights (FY24-25)

Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Limited’s revenue has increased from Rs. 3,035.37 crore in FY24 to Rs. 6,301.86 crore in FY25, which is a growth of 20.19 percent. The net loss of the company has turned into net profit, from Rs. -210.79 crore in FY24 to Rs. 85.55 crore in FY25.

Global Presence

The company operates globally, with offices in 28 countries and projects across 20 nations. Its extensive presence spans regions such as North America, Latin America, Europe, Africa, Asia, and Oceania, contributing to significant projects like solar power installations worldwide.

Order Inflow

As of March 31, 2025, Sterling and Wilson’s unexecuted order value (UOV) reached Rs. 9,096 crore, up from Rs. 8,084 crore on March 31, 2024. This increase was driven by a significant order inflow of Rs. 7,051 crore in FY25, despite Rs. 6,065 crore in projects executed during the year.
