With a market capitalization of Rs. 30,739.50 crores on Wednesday, the shares of NBCC (India) Ltd jumped upto 0.2 percent, making a high of Rs. 115.50 per share compared to its previous closing price of Rs. 115.25 per share.

The work orders include
Redevelopment of Tulsi Niketan, Ghaziabad: NBCC (India) Limited has been awarded the redevelopment of Tulsi Niketan in Ghaziabad by the Ghaziabad Development Authority. This major project is valued at Rs. 642.82 crore and will involve comprehensive redevelopment work.
Renovation works for ICAI: The company will carry out renovation projects for the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI), including the Hyderabad COE, EIRC Building in Kolkata, and the Kottayam Chapter building. The work will cover structural development, plumbing, sanitary, and interior improvements, with a total value of Rs. 4.05 crore.
Guest house renovation at NFSU Delhi Campus: NBCC will renovate the guest house at the National Forensic Science University, Delhi Campus. This project, valued at Rs. 6.95 crore, includes extensive renovation works to enhance the facility.
New building for ICSI Kanpur Chapter: The company has been entrusted with constructing a new building for the ICSI Kanpur Chapter at Shatabdi Nagar, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh and the project is worth Rs. 4.42 crore.
New building for ICSI Lucknow Chapter: NBCC will also construct a new building for the ICSI Lucknow Chapter at Viraj Khand-3, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh and this project is valued at Rs. 7.14 crore.
Financial & Others
The company’s revenue rose by 18.99 percent from Rs. 2,446 crore to Rs. 2,910 crore in Q2FY25-26. Meanwhile, Net profit rose from Rs. 125 crores to Rs. 157 crores during the same period.
The company is financially strong, with a high return on capital employed (ROCE) of 33.2 percent and return on equity (ROE) of 25.5 percent. It is almost debt-free, indicating a solid balance sheet and low financial risk.
Over the past five years, the company has achieved impressive profit growth at a 51 percent CAGR. It also rewards shareholders consistently, maintaining a healthy dividend payout of 32.7 percent.
NBCC (India) Limited, incorporated in 1960, is a Navratna Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs with over 64 years of experience in the construction sector. With a pan-India and global presence, NBCC is one of the largest construction companies in India.
As of 30.09.2025, the consolidated order book stands at Rs. 1,28,381 crore. The major contributor is NBCC with Rs. 1,12,500 crore, followed by their subsidiaries HSCC at Rs. 8,368 crore, HSCL at Rs. 7,185 crore, and NSL at Rs. 328 crore.
