The GIFT Nifty futures, which are an early indicator of the Nifty50 index stocks, were trading higher by 131 points at 25,966, indicating that the domestic benchmark indices are likely to make a positive start on Thursday.
Earlier on Wednesday, 10 December, the Domestic benchmark indices S&P BSE Sensex traded lower by 275 points or 0.32%, and settled at 84,391, while the Nifty50 traded 0.32% lower or 82 points, closing at 25,758.
Here are some stocks that are likely to remain in focus on 11 December.
Lloyds Metals and Energy: Lloyds Metals and Energy approved a plan for its subsidiary, Lloyds Global Resources FZCO, to acquire up to 50% in Nexus Holdco FZCO. Nexus owns majority stakes in Surya Mines SARL and several other companies in the Democratic Republic of Congo, which control multiple mining assets and a copper processing unit.
Petronet LNG: Petronet LNG signed a Rs 12,000-crore secured rupee term-loan agreement with a consortium led by SBI and Bank of Baroda. The financing will support its PDH and PP project at Dahej, along with propane/ethane handling and other capex.
Tata Steel: Tata Steel reached an agreement to acquire a majority stake in Odisha-based Thriveni Pellets Pvt Ltd, a move aimed at strengthening its raw-material supply chain. TPPL owns Brahmani River Pellets Ltd, which operates a 4-MTPA pellet plant and a 212-km slurry pipeline.
Surya Roshni: Surya Roshni announced that it won a Rs 168.71-crore order to supply submerged arc-welded mild-steel pipes for projects in Gujarat. The company plans to complete the deliveries by June 2026.
Tata Consultancy Services: TCS said it will acquire US-based Coastal Cloud for $700 million in an all-cash deal, strengthening its global Salesforce and AI-led transformation portfolio. The acquisition pushes TCS into the top tier of Salesforce consulting firms worldwide.
Cipla: Cipla introduced Yurpeak (tirzepatide) in India, a once-weekly injectable for obesity and type-2 diabetes. This is the second tirzepatide brand launched in India following DCGI approval of the drug.
Puravankara: Starworth Infrastructure & Construction, a Puravankara subsidiary, received a Rs 509.52-crore Letter of Acceptance for turnkey civil construction, MEP, and external development work for Varnam Phase 1 at the One Bangalore Luxury Project.
Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders: Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders said the Indian Navy and Brazilian Navy signed an MoU to exchange technical information and expertise on maintaining Scorpène-class submarines and other naval vessels.
