The GIFT Nifty futures, which are an early indicator of the Nifty50 index stocks, were trading higher by 80 points at 23,941, indicating that the domestic benchmark indices are likely to make a negative start on Friday.
Earlier on Thursday, 9 April, the domestic benchmark indices S&P BSE Sensex slumped by 931 points or 1.20%, and settled at 76,631, while the Nifty50 traded 0.93% higher or 222 points, closing at 23,775.
Here are some stocks that are likely to remain in focus on 10 April.
SpiceJet: A UK court directed the airline to pay around $8 million to an aircraft engine lessor for unpaid rent and maintenance charges related to three engines. London’s Commercial Court granted summary judgment in favour of Sunbird France 02 SAS, stating that SpiceJet had no valid defence.
Satvik Green Energy: The company’s subsidiary, Saatvik Solar Industries, secured an order worth Rs 108.75 crore from independent EPC players for supplying solar PV modules.
Tata Steel: The company completed the acquisition of the remaining 0.01% stake in Tata Steel Colours from BlueScope Steel Asia Holdings Pty Ltd for Rs 0.03 crore, increasing its ownership to 100% and making the subsidiary wholly owned.
Wipro: The company’s board will consider a share buyback proposal along with its Q4 FY26 results on 16 April.
IRB Infrastructure: The company reported toll revenue of Rs 783.5 crore for March 2026, registering a 20.7% increase from Rs 648.9 crore in the same month of FY25.
Eicher Motors: Its subsidiary Royal Enfield launched its first electric motorcycle, the Flying Flea C6, priced at Rs 2.79 lakh. The company will make the FF.C6 available from 10 April at its first Flying Flea store in Jayanagar, Bengaluru, with deliveries starting by the end of May 2026.
