What’s the News?

Time Technoplast Limited on Monday announced that the company has successfully completed development and flight trials of an in-house hydrogen-powered drone integrated with a Type-III fully wrapped composite hydrogen cylinder and hydrogen fuel-cell system, marking a major clean-energy aviation milestone.

The drone has met all endurance, payload and operational targets, and this represents India’s first successful integration of indigenously manufactured composite hydrogen cylinders with fuel-cell-powered UAVs. The achievement follows PESO approval for Type-III hydrogen cylinders and an MoU with Drone Stark Technologies.

These Hydrogen-powered drones would offer 3- 5x longer endurance, rapid refuelling, higher payload capacity and zero emissions, unlocking strong commercial potential across defence, logistics, surveillance and industrial applications.
