The shares of a prominent company in the solar energy space have jumped 24 percent in just two trading sessions, mainly driven by strong volume and improved investor sentiment in the renewable energy space.

With a market capitalisation of Rs 9,639.12 crore, the shares of KPI Green Energy Ltd were trading at Rs 489.45 per share, increasing around 8.22 percent, making a high of Rs 513.60 compared to the previous close.

Technical View

On the returns front, KPI Green Energy shares have delivered gains of 18% in two weeks, 15% in one week, and over 16.12% in the past month, recovering significantly from year-to-date losses. Despite being down 9% over the past year, the recent surge has sparked fresh optimism among market participants.

Over the past year, operating performance has strengthened meaningfully. Operating profit rose from ₹134 crore in Q2FY25 to ₹226 crore in Q2FY26, reflecting strong scale-up. Operating margins are also stable around 36% to 37%, remaining healthy despite higher expenses, indicating sustained operational efficiency alongside rapid revenue growth.
