About 69% of India’s solar potential lies in northern and western regions; 1% of GDP needed yearly to build green grid: Moody’s

​India will need to invest nearly 1% of its real GDP annually – averaging close to ₹2.1 lakh crore each year – over the next decade to expand and upgrade its electricity grid to meet clean energy targets by 2032, Moody’s Investors Service has said in a report.
