Wind turbine transformers are critical components in wind power generation, stepping up the voltage generated by wind turbines for efficient transmission to the electricity grid. As India accelerates renewable energy capacity additions, demand for specialized transformers, switchgear, and grid infrastructure continues to rise alongside new wind and hybrid renewable projects.

India has set an ambitious target of achieving 500 GW of non-fossil fuel power capacity by 2030, with wind energy expected to remain a key contributor alongside solar power. Rising investments in renewable energy parks, transmission infrastructure, and state-level clean energy projects are creating significant opportunities for manufacturers of electrical equipment and power distribution solutions.

For investors, the latest order enhances Accord Transformer & Switchgear’s revenue visibility while reinforcing its capabilities in supplying specialized electrical equipment for renewable energy projects. Continued order inflows from EPC contractors and renewable energy developers could further strengthen the company’s position in the fast-growing power equipment industry.

Incorporated in 2014, Accord Transformer & Switchgear Limited is engaged in the design, engineering, manufacturing, and supply of a diversified range of electrical power and distribution equipment, including power transformers, distribution transformers, and customized transformer solutions for utilities, industrial customers, and renewable energy projects.

The latest Rs. 19.97 crore order further strengthens Accord Transformer & Switchgear’s order book and reinforces its position as a beneficiary of India’s expanding renewable energy and power infrastructure investment cycle.
