By 2026, India’s auto component sector is expected to contribute 5-7 percent of the country’s GDP. According to the Automotive Mission Plan (2016-26), the industry could generate around 3.2 million new jobs by then.
In H1 FY25, the sector grew 11 percent YoY, touching Rs. 3.32 lakh crore in revenue. Looking ahead, India’s auto component makers are targeting export revenues of around Rs. 8.4 lakh crore over the next 7-8 years, fuelled by steady recovery and focused growth initiatives.
Following are a few auto ancillaries stocks in which FII increased stake by more than 8 percent in Q1 FY26 to keep in your watchlist:
Minda Corporation Limited
With a market cap of Rs. 12,360.4 crores, the stock moved up by nearly 1 percent on BSE, rising to Rs. 520.6 on Thursday. Minda Corporation is primarily engaged in the manufacturing and assembly of safety and security systems and their associated components for the automotive industry.
As of the latest shareholding pattern, FII holdings surged from 8.33 percent in March 2025 to 8.83 percent in June 2025, a rise of 0.5 percent. In Q4 FY25, Minda Corp has witnessed a marginal growth of nearly 9 percent YoY in revenue from operations to Rs. 1,321 crores, while a net profit decline of around 27 percent YoY to Rs. 52 crores.
ZF Commercial Vehicle Control System India Limited
With a market cap of Rs. 25,729.5 crores, the stock moved up by nearly 5.4 percent on BSE, rising to Rs. 14,192.4 on Thursday. ZF Commercial Vehicle is primarily engaged in the manufacture of air brake actuation systems for commercial vehicles, along with the rendering of software development and other services.
As of the latest shareholding pattern, FII holdings surged from 5.57 percent in March 2025 to 5.73 percent in June 2025, a rise of 0.16 percent. In Q4 FY25, ZF Commercial Vehicle has witnessed a marginal growth of nearly 5 percent YoY in revenue from operations to Rs. 1,003 crores, accompanied by a net profit growth of around 24 percent YoY to Rs. 125 crores.
Endurance Technologies Limited
With a market cap of Rs. 37,001 crores, the stock moved up by nearly 2 percent on BSE, rising to Rs. 2,678.75 on Thursday. Endurance Technologies is in the business of manufacturing and selling aluminium die casting (including alloy wheel), suspension, transmission and braking products.
As of the latest shareholding pattern, FII holdings surged from 12.37 percent in March 2025 to 13.54 percent in June 2025, a rise of 1.17 percent. In Q4 FY25, Endurance Technologies has witnessed a marginal growth of nearly 10 percent YoY in revenue from operations to Rs. 2,963 crores, accompanied by a net profit growth of around 17 percent YoY to Rs. 245 crores.
RACL Geartech Limited
With a market cap of Rs. 1,158.5 crores, the stock moved down by nearly 3.3 percent on BSE, falling to Rs. 977.75 on Thursday. RACL Geartech Limited is engaged in the business of manufacturing automotive components meant for two, three, and four-wheeler vehicles.
As of the latest shareholding pattern, FII holdings surged from just 0.03 percent in March 2025 to 8.76 percent in June 2025, a rise of 8.73 percent. In Q4 FY25, RACL Geartec has witnessed a decrease of nearly 18 percent YoY in revenue from operations to Rs. 87.3 crores, accompanied by a net profit decline of around 23 percent YoY to Rs. 6.5 crores.
