Shares of DCX Systems Ltd rallied 16% to touch a day’s high of Rs 208.49 on 6th March, after the company announced on Thursday, 5th March, that it had secured a purchase order worth Rs 68.05 crore (including GST) from Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL). The order involves the manufacture and supply of custom-made antennas and power supplies for airborne applications.
The order adds to DCX Systems’ existing contracts and highlights its focus on defence and aerospace electronics. HAL, one of India’s leading aerospace and defence companies, has sourced these specialised components to support its airborne systems.
According to the company’s filing with the BSE and NSE, the order falls under its normal business operations and aligns with its operational objectives. DCX Systems’ expertise in customised electronic components for defence applications has helped strengthen its order book.
Industry analysts say such contracts reflect the rising demand for indigenous technology solutions in India’s defence sector. Manufacturing custom antennas and power supply units requires high precision and strict quality standards.
DCX Systems has a strong track record in delivering specialised electronics and power solutions, making it a reliable supplier to defence customers. The HAL order is expected to support the company’s revenue visibility for the current financial year.
At 11:47 AM, shares of DCX Systems were trading 15.21% higher at Rs 204.79 on the NSE.
