With a market capitalization of Rs. 4,839.74 crores in the day’s trade, the shares of TVS Supply Chain Solutions Ltd rose upto 4.9 percent, making a high of Rs. 111.10 per share compared to its previous closing price of Rs. 105.85 per share.

TVS Supply Chain Solutions Limited, a leading global supply chain solutions provider and one of India’s largest and fastest-growing integrated supply chain companies, announced plans to enhance Caterpillar’s global supply chains from India. The company is establishing a 40,000 sq. ft. warehousing facility at the Free Trade and Warehousing Zone (FTWZ) in Mannur Village, located around 30 km from Chennai, India.
The facility will enable parts procurement from multiple countries and support Caterpillar’s manufacturing operations. The TVS SCS Chennai FTWZ is strategically situated along the Chennai–Bengaluru Industrial Corridor, providing excellent connectivity to Chennai, Ennore, and Kamarajar ports, which collectively handle nearly 20% of India’s container traffic.
The facility supports the ‘Make in India for the World’ initiative and strengthens Caterpillar’s India operations as a resilient and scalable hub within its global supply network. With around 4,000 pallet positions, the state-of-the-art facility will help Caterpillar optimise lead times, lower landed costs, and respond quickly to global supply and demand requirements. This enables more efficient and agile supply chain operations from India to the world.
