Magellanic Cloud Limited continues to strengthen its position in the railway surveillance and safety infrastructure segment through its wholly owned subsidiary, Provigil Surveillance Limited. The company recently received a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) from South Western Railway, Hubli Division, for a project valued at approximately Rs. 4.31 crore involving the deployment of CCTV surveillance systems across 75 non-interlocked manned level crossing gates. The scope of work includes the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of CCTV and video surveillance systems, networking and telecom infrastructure, monitoring system integration, power backup arrangements, solar power systems and computer vision-based gate monitoring solutions.
In addition, Provigil Surveillance Limited has secured another significant railway order from East Coast Railway, Sambalpur Division, worth approximately Rs. 9.72 crore for the deployment of CCTV surveillance systems at 91 manned non-interlocked level crossing gates aimed at enhancing monitoring, safety and security across railway assets.
These latest contract wins further expand the company’s presence across key railway zones and reinforce its growing reputation as a trusted surveillance technology partner for India’s public sector infrastructure projects. With cumulative railway sector orders now exceeding Rs. 250 crore, Magellanic Cloud has established a strong foothold in railway modernization and safety initiatives.
