About the Mandate

The company has won a multi-year mandate in Canada for its Purple Fabric-powered GRC AI offering by Carte Financial Group: a significant victory in a heavily regulated industry

This marks Intellect’s first GRC-led transformation engagement in Canada, thus reinforcing Intellect’s presence in the North American market, as well as the applicability and relevance of Intellect’s AI-led governance solutions in a mature finance domain.

From a product and positioning perspective, the introduction of Purple Fabric translates to a transformed approach in complying with regulations, from a reactive and control-centred approach to a proactive and intelligence-led one. In a way, Intellect has partnered with a technology that not only plays a crucial role in addressing increasing costs of compliance, regulatory oversight, and risks but one that is also growing in importance to wealth managers and financial institutions worldwide

Strategically speaking, their collaboration with Carte Financial Group has improved Intellect’s long-term revenue visibility and reference value. This flagship implementation within Canada’s wealth management industry can prove to be a big success case for future GRC business for North America.

With regulators globally pushing for transparency and audit-ready systems, this mandate reinforces Intellect’s positioning as a scalable, enterprise-grade provider of AI-led regulatory technology, opening doors for cross-selling and deeper penetration in regulated markets

Financials

The revenue from operations for the company stood at Rs 758 crores in Q2 FY26 compared to Q2 FY25 revenue of Rs 558 crores, up by about 36 per cent YoY. However, the net profit stood at Rs 102 crore in Q2 FY26, up compared to the Rs 52 crore profit in Q2 FY25.

The revenue mix for Q2 FY26 indicates a strong international skew, with the largest share of USD-denominated revenues at 48%, highlighting sizable exposures to the US and dollar-linked markets. This is complemented by GBP and CAD, each at 12%, while INR contributes 15%, indicating a diversified currency base. Such a mix reduces dependence on any single geography but also introduces forex sensitivity, making currency movements a key factor influencing reported revenues and margins going forward.
