Popular Vehicles Surges 19% to Day High on Strong Q4 Update

Shares of Popular Vehicles and Services Limited hit an intraday high of Rs 117.99 on the BSE on 20 April, surging 19% from the previous close of Rs 99.14, after the company released a strong Q4 FY26 business update showing broad-based revenue growth across segments.

In an exchange filing, the auto dealership group disclosed that total revenue from operations grew 69% year-on-year in Q4 FY26, while full-year FY26 revenue rose 15%. The commercial vehicle segment was the standout performer, posting 134% year-on-year growth in the quarter. New vehicle volume sales climbed 44% year-on-year in Q4 FY26.

Passenger vehicle revenue excluding luxury grew 25% year-on-year in the quarter, while the luxury PV segment rose 37%. Electric vehicle and spare parts distribution revenue grew 39% year-on-year. New vehicle inventory days fell to 29 days from 41 days a year earlier, reflecting improved sales momentum, particularly in the entry-level car segment.

The company noted that Honda and Piaggio volumes and revenues were accounted for only until August 2025, while Audi’s contribution has been included from Q4 FY26 onwards. The service segment saw a mid-single-digit decline in Q4 FY26, partially offset by higher average selling prices. 

At 14:39 pm on BSE, shares were trading up by 4.41% at Rs 103.51, well off the session high. The stock’s 52-week range stands at Rs 78.50 to Rs 163.05.
