Shares of Silver Touch Technologies Ltd surged 2.5% to hit the day’s high of Rs 1,349.20 on 5th March. This came after the company announced that it had secured a project from the Odisha Computer Application Centre for the enhancement, operation, maintenance and technical support of the CM-KISAN portal.
In an exchange filing, Silver Touch Technologies said the purchase order has been awarded by the Odisha Computer Application Centre (OCAC) under the state’s Agriculture & Farmers’ Empowerment Department.
The project involves upgrading, operating and maintaining the CM-KISAN portal. This portal supports agricultural welfare schemes and direct benefit transfers for farmers in Odisha.
The company said it will strengthen the platform’s digital infrastructure, improve integration with national and state agricultural databases, and enhance transparency and traceability in benefit distribution. Additionally, the project will also enable real-time, data-driven decision-making for agricultural governance.
Silver Touch added that the order strengthens its presence in the AgriTech and digital public infrastructure space. Its AgriTech offerings include farmer lifecycle management systems, direct benefit transfer platforms, scheme integration frameworks and cloud-based agricultural applications.
Executive Director Minesh V. Doshi said the engagement reflects the company’s focus on using digital innovation to support agricultural transformation and inclusive rural growth. He also added that AgriTech remains a key long-term focus area.
Last month, the company had also received a purchase order from the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) for a digital transformation project.
At 11:10 AM, shares of Silver Touch were trading 1.97% higher at Rs 1,338.60 on the NSE.
