Synopsis: Danish Power Ltd has outlined its business operations, strategic initiatives and future growth plans. The management spoke about its financials,  work orders and business outlook and future expansions that would help the company grow with improved margins.

The shares of a transformer manufacturer with over four decades of experience, engaged in the manufacturing of Power Transformers, Inverter Duty Transformers, Control Relay panels, and more were in focus after the company shines a light on its order pipeline and future capacity expansion.

With the market capitalization of Rs. 1,213 Crore, the shares of Danish Power Ltd were trading at around Rs. 616 which is ~53 percent down from its 52 week high of Rs. 1316. It is trading at a P/E of 18.2 whereas the industry P/E stands at 44.1 

What is the news:

Danish Power ltd has recently participated in an analyst presentation at the virtual event “Samruddhi 2.0 2025” where it mentioned its future outlook and order book. It currently has an unexecuted orders of  Rs. 400 Crores out of which Rs. 300 Crores is projected to be executed by March 2026, along enquiry pipeline of orders worth Rs. 1000 Crores.  

The company is strengthening its backward integration by setting up its own sheet metal fabrication facility, which will help shorten production timelines and improve overall material quality. The company has also acquired land adjacent to its existing manufacturing facility with an objective of securing space for future expansion into the 245 KV transformer segment.   

Company Overview and Financial Highlights

Danish Power Limited has been doing business for the last 4 decades, majorly engaged in manufacturing Power Transformers, Inverter Duty Transformers, Control Relay panels and more, its client base includes Tata Power, ABB, Torrent Power, Greenko, Jakson Green. 

The company’s core business division includes: Transformer Division whose key products include Inverter Duty Transformers (IDT), Power transformers, Distribution Transformers and Special application transformers . Panels and Automation Division whose key product line include Control Relay Panels (CRP), Substation Automation Systems (SAS) .

Its revenue from operations has increased from Rs. 164 Crores to Rs. 212 Crores, up 29.2 percent, the operating profit has increased from Rs. 31 Crores to Rs. 37 Crores, up 19.38 percent. Net profit has increased by 45 percent from Rs. 20 Crores to Rs. 29 Crores.
