Synopsis: Societe Generale buys Rs 31 Cr stake (10.7L shares) in Latent View Analytics at Rs 291; stock jumps 20%. India Emerging Giants Fund sells 1.6L AVG Logistics shares; stock drops 15%.

Societe Generale Picks Up Latent View Stake

France-based banking giant Societe Generale made a bold move. The bank bought 10.74 lakh shares of Latent View Analytics on the open market. It paid Rs 290.69 per share, spending a total of Rs 31.2 crore. This purchase gave Societe Generale over half a percent equity stake in the company. The transaction took place on the National Stock Exchange, as per bulk deal data.

Latent View Analytics is a data analytics services and consulting firm. The company recently invested $3 million in Healtheon AI. Healtheon AI is an agentic artificial intelligence start-up focused on healthcare revenue cycle management. Therefore, investor confidence in the stock appears to be growing.

AVG Logistics Faces Selling Pressure

On the other hand, AVG Logistics faced heavy selling. India Emerging Giants Fund offloaded 1.63 lakh shares of the company. The fund sold its stake at Rs 129.24 per share. The total transaction value stood at Rs 2.1 crore. This represented approximately 1.08 percent of the company’s total equity.

India Emerging Giants Fund is an offshore fund. It operates under global asset management firm Blue Lotus Capital. Furthermore, another Blue Lotus vehicle Blue Lotus Capital Multi Bagger Fund II held 1.30 percent stake in AVG Logistics as of December 2025. AVG Logistics operates in the supply chain management space.

What This Means for Investors

Bulk and block deals often signal strong conviction from institutional investors. A buy signals confidence; a sell can trigger panic among retail investors. As a result, both stocks moved sharply beyond normal trading ranges. Market participants will closely watch both counters in the sessions ahead.
