Tejas Networks Shares Fall 4.6% as Q4 Loss Widens to Rs 211 Cr

Shares of Tejas Networks Limited dropped by 4.61% to Rs 429.10 on NSE on 16 April after the Tata Group telecom gear maker reported its fifth consecutive quarterly loss, with net losses nearly tripling year-on-year in Q4 FY26.

The company posted a net loss of Rs 211.3 crore for the quarter ended March 2026, against a loss of Rs 71.8 crore in Q4 FY25. Revenue collapsed 82.6% YoY to Rs 333 crore, from Rs 1,907 crore a year ago. The firm swung to an EBITDA loss of Rs 118.2 crore at the operating level, compared to a profit of Rs 121.5 crore in the same quarter last year.

For the full year FY26, revenue fell 87% YoY. That is among the sharpest annual revenue contractions seen at a listed Indian telecom equipment maker, reflecting a near-complete halt in domestic order execution through the year.

On the international front, Tejas Networks secured its first commercial order for 4G/5G wireless products in global markets and signed a 5G Massive MIMO radio supply contract with NEC. The Bengaluru-based firm also completed successful trials of its 5G products with an operator in the Americas. COO Arnob Roy told exchanges the company recorded ‘strong traction’ for its 400G/800G coherent DWDM solutions, backed by rising demand from 5G backhaul, enterprise and data centre connectivity segments during the quarter.

At 10:22 am on 16 April, shares were trading at Rs 429.10 on NSE, down by 4.61% from the previous close of Rs 449.85. The stock has shed 50.26% over the past one year and sits well below its 52-week high of Rs 914.40, hit in April 2025.
