Hexaware Surges 9% on Anthropic Claude Reseller Deal

Hexaware Technologies surges to Rs 539 on 29 June, up 9%, after being named an authorised reseller for Anthropic’s Claude on Amazon Bedrock.

This is a bigger deal than it sounds. Being an authorised reseller means Hexaware is not just using Claude internally. It can now sell Claude directly to its own enterprise clients worldwide, handle the setup, and provide ongoing support.

Only a small group of companies globally have been given this status. Amazon Bedrock, for those unfamiliar, is Amazon’s cloud platform that lets businesses plug AI models into their operations without building the underlying technology themselves.

Claude is the AI model built by Anthropic, and it is designed specifically for high-stakes business use across sectors like banking, healthcare, manufacturing and retail.

This helps Hexaware clients by providing faster access to Claude without going through lengthy procurement processes, AI systems built and managed end-to-end by Hexaware’s delivery teams, and the ability to customise the model for specific industry needs.

Siddharth Dhar, President and Global Head of Digital IT Operations and AI at Hexaware, said the authorisation reflects the foundational AI capability the company has built and the trust clients have placed in it.

On the financials front, Hexaware reported net sales growth of 12.6% year-on-year to Rs 3,613 crore for the quarter ended March 2026. Net profit grew 7.5% YoY to Rs 351.6 crore in the same period.

At 12:21 pm, shares of HEXT were trading at Rs 526.75 on NSE, up by 6.45% from the previous close of Rs 494.85. The stock is down around 34% so far in 2026.
