Shares of MOIL Ltd plunged 5.5% after touching a day’s high of Rs 353.50 on 2nd February, after the company said on Sunday (1st February) that it has revised the prices of different grades of manganese ore for February 2026 in the January–March 2026 quarter, with the changes effective from 1st February, 2026.
Ferro grades (Mn 44% and above): Prices raised by 5% over levels effective since 1st January, 2026.
Other Ferro grades (below 44% Mn): Also increased by 5% for February 2026, except BG4584, where January prices continue.
SMGR grades:
- Mn-30% and Fines: Prices hiked by 5% compared to January 2026 levels.
- Mn-25% and Mn-20%: Prices remain unchanged for February 2026.
Chemical grades: All Chemical grades saw a 5% price increase from January 2026 levels.
Metal Mandi Fines:
- DBF575 and MSF592: Prices unchanged.
- UKF532: Prices increased by 10% from January levels.
Electrolytic Manganese Dioxide (EMD): Base price retained at Rs 1,90,000 per metric tonne, unchanged from January 2026.
Effective date: All revised and continued prices apply from midnight of 31st January to 1st February, 2026.
At 11:45 AM, shares of MOIL were trading 5.40% lower at Rs 328.25 on NSE.
