Saatvik Green Energy Soared 4% on Securing Rs 44 Crore Order

Shares of Saatvik Green Energy Ltd soared 4% on 18 February after the company’s subsidiary, Saatvik Solar Industries Private Ltd, received and accepted orders totaling Rs 44.10 crore for solar photovoltaic modules.

The order was awarded by a domestic independent power producer/EPC player. The deal is commercial in nature and covers the supply of solar PV modules. The company indicated that the purchase will be fulfilled by March 2026.

In February of this year, Saatvik Green Energy stated that it is confident in maintaining its strong growth momentum, which is being driven by increased demand for solar equipment, capacity expansion, and a broader product line.

Prashant Mathur, CEO of Saatvik Green Energy, said, “We have consistently been growing. We have continuously focused on expanding our customer base. We have focused on quality and hi-tech products. We are not only getting into backward integration of cell manufacturing, we are also getting into ancillaries and also in the allied businesses. We have expanded our portfolio, not only in model manufacturing, but inverter, pumps, EPC and more.”

On margins, Mathur stated that for a module maker, EBITDA margins of around 13% and PAT margins of 9-10% are considered healthy, and the company has consistently delivered within these ranges. He explained that the commissioning of a 2-gigawatt encapsulant production facility in the fourth quarter has already begun to boost the bottom line.

However, at 12:28 pm, the shares of Saatvik Green Energy were trading 0.34% lower at Rs 411.50 on NSE.
