Stocks in Focus: Federal Bank, Oberoi Realty, LIC, and Others

The GIFT Nifty futures, which are an early indicator of the Nifty50 index stocks, were trading higher by 1 point at 25,995, indicating that the domestic benchmark indices are likely to make a lacklustre start on Thursday. 

Earlier on Wednesday, 11 February, the domestic benchmark indices S&P BSE Sensex slumped by 40 points or 0.05%, and settled at 84,233, while the Nifty50 traded 0.07% higher or 19 points, closing at 25,953.

Here are some stocks that are likely to remain in focus on 12 February.

Federal Bank: The Reserve Bank of India has approved ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company, along with ICICI Bank group entities, to acquire up to a 9.95% stake in Federal Bank.

Oberoi Realty: I-Ven Realty, a joint venture between Oberoi Realty, its promoter Vikas Oberoi, and another partner, has signed a hotel management, branding, and marketing agreement with Switzerland-based Aman Group. The agreement covers the development of a luxury hotel and residential project in Mumbai’s Worli area.

LIC: The government has introduced a special window to allow up to 20% Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) through the automatic route by amending the FDI Policy. The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) implemented these changes through Press Note 1 of 2026. The revised policy also permits up to 100% FDI in insurance companies via the automatic route.

Kernex Microsystems India: Kernex Microsystems has secured an order worth Rs 411.17 crore from Banaras Locomotive Works to supply, install, test, and commission 505 units of On-board KAVACH in line with RDSO specifications.

Netweb Technologies: Promoters Sanjay Lodha, Navin Lodha, Niraj Lodha, and Vivek Lodha plan to sell up to a 3% stake in Netweb Technologies through block deals. The proposed deal size stands at around Rs 514.5 crore, with a floor price of Rs 3,027 per share.
